Obour and your team, sit up – Shatta Wale replies MUSIGA

03:57

In a statement issued in Accra and signed by MUSIGA president, Bice osei Kuffour, the union called on musicians and song writers to desist from writing profane songs, saying they were not good for the public.

This statement came as a result of the recent profane songs released by Shatta Wale and Wisa Greid of Ekikime fame.

Reacting to the statement, Wale in a Facebook post referred to the union as a hypocritical one.

According to him, it is a total disgrace to hear MUSIGA come out to say they have intentions of banning these songs instead of educating musicians to see music as a business venture.
