Well, time really flys! Just last year the maiden edition of the Golden Movie Awards was launched and introduced in the country to honor outstanding achievement in the Africa television and film industries.
Last year, we saw Adjetey Annan, Lydia Forson, Chris Attoh, Naa Ashorkor and several others winning in the first edition of the awards scheme.
Sometime In February this year, nominations were opened for film makers and actors alike to submit their films to the board to be considered for nomination and from what Ghbase.com gathers, all work has been done in selecting the right people who qualify to be nominated.
The organizers of the event NMJ has announced that, on the 24th of May, 2016, nominees will be announced for the prestigious awards ceremony at the Tsang Palace Hotel, in Accra. The 2016 edition of the Golden Movie Awards will also be launched and we would also get to know the ambassadors for this year’s award ceremony
Remember I made a list of the Top 5 Movies From Ghana’s Box Office and I will be expecting all of those movies to make it in the nominees list and probably see some major characters in those movies getting nominations as well.
