A man has come out to declare he sold a vehicle to Sarkodie, the same vehicle that has landed the multiple award winning rapper at the police station.
Sarkodie was invited for question by The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) of the Police Service on Wednesday, October 8.
The rapper was picked up by the police when he went to the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority (DVLA) in Accra to register an Infinity car they said had been reported stolen.
ASP Joseph Obinifo Darkwah, Public Relations Officer of the CID, who confirmed the arrest said the rapper has been granted bail and is assisting the police with investigations.
Hours after the reports of Sarkodie trying to register a stolen car went viral, the guy who sold the car to Sarkodie has come out to give full details on how the incident happened.
According to Zionfelix.com an instagram user named Doste Dee has disclosed he sold the Infinity to the BET winner.
He posted a photo on instagram with a story and claimed Sarkodie did not buy a stolen product.
