VIDEO: DKB Does It Again At “Lord of the Ribs” Comedy Show

Easter holiday in Ghana’s capital was spiced up when the rib-cracking stand-up comedy show “Lord of the Ribs” rocked Accra on Easter Saturday with some of  Africa’s best in the game.

The event took place once again at the Accra International Conference Centre and the likes of of the 2 Idiots, DKB, Hogan, SIM Card and Basket Mouth treated audience with some of the jokes that would “heal emotional wounds.”


In the end it was DKB and Basket Mouth‘s performance that got people talking as the former took a hilarious swipe at the now popular Two Thoozin. However, it was his overall performance that earned him a standing ovation.

The 2 Idiots, SIM Card and Hogan were also good with their well-timed jokes after jokes.

There were musical performances from Ghanaian music legends Kwadwo Akwboah, Pat Thomas and Smart Nkansah. The soothing voices of relatively young Ghanaian musicians Akwaboah and Nana Yaa, also treated the audience with some of the best vocals with the latter performing with his father Kwabena Akwaboah.

This event came at the point in time when most Ghanaians holiday-mongers had visited Kwahu in the Eastern region of Ghana for the Easter Holiday but the show recorded good attendance with regards the niche.
