I wonder why they crown Charter House VGMA the most prodigious awards program in Ghana.It is far better to sit behind the TV and watch than pay that amount to watch it "fiiligadoshi".....THE PROGRAM WAS A FLOP.
To start with castro opened the show with a nice live band performance though i didn't feel it that much.He was not much comfortable with the live band as compared to him miming.Live band no be by-force.
I was much surprised to see them having faults with the microphone,when are they going to mature and shop allowing minor faults to flop their program.The continuity was very bad,i mean very bad,they announced that an artist is to take the stage just for the audience to wait for about 30 seconds before the artist appears on stage,i think it made the program very boring and unorganized.
Coordination to me was inappropriate how can you announce that Jupita and Stonebwoy are about to take the stage for the MC to come latter and announce that Inyanya is the one rather to take the stage while he is relaxed sitting in the audience,he now had to be told that he is the one to perform,VERY DISGRACING,you will not see this in the BET.But Inyanya rocked the show though.
It is high time Event organizers respect Ghanaian Artists. How can you pay foreign artist huge sum of money while the homeland artist get peanuts.To establish my point look at Davido's performance compared to Sarkodie's,but they still pay them huge money.I support Shatta Wale refusing to perform by not taking the peanuts.
Shatta wale it's not fare for you to sit in the house while you know for sure that you are wining the ultimate price,it didn't sound professional,what will the outside world think of our artists.Even though they refused to pay the amount you demanded you should have come for your awards.
Congratulations to all those who won awards.
This is my opinion on the VGMA,I'm entitled to my own opinion.
